This model works incredibly well for me, my clients, and MANY successful brands & TV shows/commercials…
Unfortunately (just a heads up), I was a bit distracted by the road and might have left out some stuff haha…
But anyway, you’ll get some good stuff from this video, and I hope it helps you when you want to HOOK your audience in the first 30-60 seconds of your speech/interview…
Here’s a little template to guide you through the process:
(fill in the blanks)…
“Today I’m _____.
I used to be ______.
I tried ___, ___, ___.
Finally, I discovered/tried ______.
And, I was able to ___, ____, ____.
Can I tell you more?…. or…. And that’s what I’ll be teaching you today on this webinar (etc).”
BAM! The recipe for an awesome 60 second pitch that will HOOK an audience almost instantly.
Of course, it does take practice, and as mentioned in the video, neither Joel or I condone using this verbatim. It’s just something to help you get on the right track.
Once you get the hang of it, and with some additional practice and training from Joel or myself, you will can easily hook an audience within the first 30-60 seconds. 😉
